Model 551 is an economical choice for an efficient, performance oriented roll-up door with the same proven reliability as our other doors. It is constructed of roll formed hot dipped galvanized steel, making it a practical, low cost alternative to slat type doors.
Available in 22 pre-finished colors, like all our roll-up sheet doors, Model 551 features a polyester prime coat to provide a long lasting, durable finish, eliminating the added expense of field painting. Model 551 has an exterior polypropylene wearstrip to reduce friction and ensure smooth, quiet operation.
When cost is a major consideration, the Model 551 is the door of choice because it was designed economically without sacrificing performance, craftsmanship, or aesthetics. Available in sizes up to 144 square feet (14 m2), [maximum height or width of 12' (3658 mm)], the Model 551 is identical in appearance to Model 601, allowing the use of several models on the same job site.
